A Momentous Year

December 17, 2019

As 2019 approaches its conclusion we like to linger for a few moments and to take an opportunity to wind back the hands of time and consider what has been a momentous first year in bottle for Broken Clock Vodka.

Over the last 12 months we’ve tasted Broken Clock with thousands of inquisitive people and won new friends and fans across the World from our home county of Cheshire to as far afield as Shanghai and Australia. The thrill of seeing new folk experiencing our quintessentially English vodka never fades and indeed it gives us immense pride that Broken Clock has been awarded a medal in every one of the four competitions we entered it into this year. Judging panels in Britain, Hong Kong and South Africa all bestowed some of their top marks to our distinctive spirit, appreciating its elegant taste and long, lingering finish. Here is how some of the esteemed judges from one competition eloquently described our vodka their tasting note: “Light and delicate aromas on the nose grow in intensity. Sweet and fruity on the palate, with subtle meadow notes of grass and flowers, then a pleasant bitterness on the finish. Very elegant.”

And so it is with poise and enthusiasm that we approach a new decade and the next chapter of Broken Clock’s story and we very much look forward to you accompanying us on the journey and joining us for a vodka (or two) in the year ahead.
