Broken Clock is delighted to announce that our lingering English vodka can now be procured at Harrods in Knightsbridge, London.
This historic department store began with humble beginnings as Charles Henry Harrod’s drapers shop on Borough High Street in 1824 and has had a host of famous customers granted credit over the years, including Oscar Wilde, Charlie Chaplin, Sigmund Freud, Laurence Olivier and A. A. Milne.
In 1898 Harrods became the first establishment in Britain to have an escalator - a moving staircase made of a woven leather covered belt with a mahogany and silver-plated-glass balustrade. Customers were so terrified to ride it that store staff had to offer them a stiff drink at the top!
