Royal Milk Punch

Named after its unexcelled taste and in honour of one eximious Queen who was crowned on this day in 1838.


Makes a batch which you can store for future enjoyments.

For the vodka mix:
250 ml Broken Clock Vodka
250 ml Apple Cider Brandy
15 g Lemon Zest
15 g Orange Zest

For the tea mix:
250 ml Full Fat Milk
500 ml Cold Black Tea
125 ml Sugar
100 ml Lemon Juice
100 ml Apple Juice
100 ml Orange Juice

First, combine the vodka mix ingredients in a bowl, cover and infuse at room temperature for 12 hours.

When the wait is over, put the milk into a large bowl and set it aside.

In another bowl, combine the other tea mix ingredients and stir to dissolve the sugar. Next, add the vodka mix, having removed the zest.

Now add this mixture to the milk. Stir, curdle and then refrigerate for 24 hours.

Finally, strain the liquid using a cheese cloth, tea towel or some silk stockings. Repeat the process until the punch is clear.

Keep the cocktail chilled until you serve it. Thorough clarification stabilises the liquid and it can be kept in the fridge for months.
