Shandy Hall is a place where time itself lingers.

Two centuries ago it was the home of Laurence Sterne and it feels like the clock has scarcely ticked forward since the curious man tended to the flowerbeds himself.

And it’s at the end of his garden that the windfall apples in Broken Clock’s recipe slowly ripen, falling in the Autumn winds only when the unhurried rhythm of nature deems the time hath cometh.
